Our 5 week LPP Summer Program provides special opportunities to learn important skills and enjoy yourself, both on the Le Moyne College campus and in the Central New York area. Although specific activities vary from summer to summer, the 1999 LPP Summer Program is typical of our summer program.

The 1999 LPP Summer Program offered the following activities:

• An Academic Program for incoming 9th and 10th graders which met four mornings a week at Le Moyne. The program prepared students for the coming academic year, offering instruction in English, Math, and Earth Science (9th grade) and Biology (10th grade).
• Career Exploration and Recreational Field Trips 1-2 afternoons per week. Activities included career site visits to the Syracuse Newspapers,  CNY Orthopedics, and Centro, canoeing, ice-skating, bowling, horseback riding, and a trip to Darien Lake.
• First Aid and CPR courses.
• Home Health Care Aide Training Course which met six hours a day for four weeks.
• College Exploration Trips to SUNY Morrisville, Cazenovia College, SUNY Oswego, Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland.
