Le Moyne College Campus
The Le Moyne College Campus consists of 17 major and 19 minor buildings. Associated with the campus is the residence of the Jesuits, and St. Andrews Seminary. The Buildings listed below have links to photographs, and can be accessed by clicking on the building name.
Residence Halls:
Mitchell Hall Constructed in 1957, it originally housed Le Moyne's Jesuit Community. Today, this three story brick building houses several administrative offices, and 68 resident students on its upper two floors. The first floor of this 44,000 gsf building underwent major renovations in the summer of 1995 and the summer of 2007.
Saint Mary's Hall This 44,000 gross square foot, five story brick residence hall houses 216 women, who are primarily freshmen. Constructed in 1963, it was the first female residence hall at Le Moyne college. It was renovated in 2002 to include remodled rooms and classrooms in the first floor for the living learning community.
Dablon Hall A co-educational underclass residence hall, housing 202 students. Dablon Hall, located on Le Moyne's main quad, is a five story brick building with 44,000 gross square feet which was constructed in 1963. This building was renovated in the summer of 2005 to include more attractive rooms, hallways, bathrooms, a main lounge on the first floor, and a small lounge area on every floor. Dablon Hall also houses Le Moyne’s own radio station in the basement of the building.
Harrison Hall A co-educational, suite style residence hall built in 1970, Harrison Hall houses 270 students in 32 suites which consist of 5 bedrooms, with a full bathroom each. Harrison Hall mainly houses sophomores and juniors on campus. Harrison Hall underwent major renovations of the first floor during the summer of 2007.
Foery Hall Located between Nelligan and Dablon Halls, this co-educational upper class residence hall houses 270 students in 40 suites. Built in 1968, Foery Hall is an 80,000 gross square foot brick building. Foery Hall underwent major renovations over the summer of 2007.
Townhouses Located on the east end of the campus, the Townhouses were constructed in 1989 adjacent to a wooded area. These 6 wood frame houses consist of 4 apartments each, with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms, with a full kitchen attached to a common living room area. The Townhouses gained new flooring in the living room and kitchen areas in the summer of 2006. This created an attractive and sought after environment as a typically senior residence.
Le Moyne View The Le Moyne View Apartments offer our students apartment style living adjacent to the main campus. Each of the two completely renovated buildings has one and two bedroom suites which have living rooms and kitchen facilities. One of the Le Moyne View apartment buildings currently houses Wellness Housing. A completely drug and alcohol free, low noise alternative environment for students of Le Moyne College.
Le Moyne Heights I The Le Moyne Heights I offer our students another apartment-style living option. There are 18 apartments in the two-building complex most of which are two bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a full kitchen. The building on Springfield Road has a gross square footage of 13,068, while the building on Thompson Road is 6,534 gsf.
Le Moyne Heights II Built in 2004, these 19 townhouse style residences are the most sought after on campus by seniors. Generally housing 4 residents, these townhouses have a full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Half of these are two story and half and one story apartments.
Academic Buildings:
Grewen Hall Le Moyne's main academic building, it was the first building that Le Moyne College built, and was constructed in 1948. This 86,500 gross square foot building is the largest on campus. Within its brick walls, there are 17 classrooms, the offices of the Masters of Business Administration program, Academic Dean, Academic Vice-President, Registrar, Bursar, Payroll, Human Resources, and in the basement, the Le Moyne College Bookstore and the Café Nuvo, a small eatery and student lounge remodeled in 2005. The third floor and main entrance of Grewen Hall was remolded in 2006 to create a beautiful and welcoming space to anyone who first enters the building.
Reilly Hall Built in 1969 of brick, Reilly Hall is the home of 13 classrooms, including 4 student computer labs, the Office of Information Systems, The Audio-Visual Department, and Faculty Offices. There is also a television studio located on the second floor.
Coyne Science Center Constructed in 1948 and renovated in 1986, this 65,000 gross square foot brick building houses many of the sciences. This building contains two large lecture halls, 12 instructional laboratories, and 6 classrooms. Also in the building are Le Moyne's two electron microscopes and a greenhouse.
Athletic Facilities:
Henninger Athletic Center Home of the Le Moyne Dolphins and the Gold Wave, the Anthony A. Henninger Athletic Center was constructed in 1962 of brick. Located at the base of the hill atop which the Academic Building rest, all Le Moyne sporting events are held in the surrounding athletic fields.
Recreation Center Within the walls of the Recreation Center, which was built in 1989, students have access to a pool, aerobics room, exercise equipment, a weight room, racquetball courts, and basketball courts that can be converted to facilitate either indoor tennis or volleyball.
Other College Facilities:
Le Moyne College Physical Plant Building Constructed in 1987, this 17,500 gsf steel building houses the carpenter shop, the vehicle maintenance and repair area, the grounds shop and the Facilities offices.
Performing Arts Center Le Moyne College invested in a new facility to support its performing arts programs in 1999. This 26,700 gross square foot building features a blackbox theater, classrooms, dance areas, music practice rooms and other spaces that are dedicated to the performing arts.
Panasci Family Chapel Constructed in 1994, this 14,285 gross square foot facility houses the offices of Campus Ministry. The chapel serves as the main center for the campus liturgical services.
Noreen Falcone Library Built in 1981, the 65,000 gross square foot library underwent minor renovations in 1996. Located inside the library is the Academic Support Center along with a computer lab and computer classroom, and the College's archives.
Le Moyne College Campus Center The main center for student gathering, the Dining Facility provides the meals for students who purchase a meal plan. This meal plan is most often used by the College's resident students. The Dining Center also includes the Student Development office, the Residence Life office, the Leather Lounge, the James Commons eatery and lounge and the Special Events room. This 53,750 gross square foot building was constructed in 1963 and underwent major renovations in 1994 and 1999.
Steam Plant This 6,600 square foot building was constructed in 1994 to provide a better heating solution for the College. Housing three 500 bhp fire tube boilers, with all of the associated pumping systems, this building serves as the main shop for the HVAC personnel on campus.
Jesuit facilities:
Loyola Jesuit Residence Constructed in 1990, this 31,000 gross square foot building houses the majority of the Jesuit Community residing on Le Moyne's campus.
St. Andrew's Hall The Jesuit Novitiate is located adjacent to Le Moyne's Campus.
