McCartan, Lisa M. (Ph. D. 2003, University of Cincinnati)
has recently completed her Ph. D. in criminal justice with a concentration
in criminology. Her research focuses on life course criminology with
a special interest in the relationship between biological factors
and criminal behavior. She has written articles on risk prediction,
the role of prenatal risk factors in delinquent behavior, and the
intelligence/crime debate. She teaches many of the courses for the
Criminology and Crime & Justice Studies program.
