Making the transition to college life can be daunting. But for Brian, who plays lacrosse at Le Moyne, a warm welcome from his new teammates helped him adjust and find his place.
“As a freshman coming in to a new situation, it really helped to have 35 to 40 other guys to welcome you to the team,” Brian recalls. “Older guys help advise you on how to manage your schedule, choose your classes, and how to balance your life. The team is kind of like my second family here at Le Moyne.”
Brian says he also appreciates the intimate atmosphere he’s found at Le Moyne. “I like the size of the school,” he says. “You’re not sitting in class with 200 kids here. You get one-on-one attention from your professors, and so many people know you by your first name.”
