Fall Transfer Students

Fall transfer student's Connecting to Campus program is designed exclusively to meet the needs of residential and commuter transfer students. Residential students will move into their residence halls on Friday afternoon before the start of classes.  Connecting to Campus will consist of programming specifically for transfer students and related to Le Moyne's four core values: Spirit, Inquiry, Leadership and Jesuit. You will receive a full schedule of events in the summer, but here is a brief idea of what you can expect:
•    Friday: Get settled and socialize with other new transfer students.
•    Saturday: Participate in a welcome session and a very special community project with other new transfer students and members of our Tau Sigma  Transfer Student Honor Society.
•    Sunday: Liturgy, brunch and celebration of our new students.  Fireworks at dusk!
•    On the following Thursday: After a week of classes and getting acquainted with the campus you will be more comfortable and may have some questions. By attending our welcome dinner on Thursday evening you will have an opportunity to meet faculty, develop more relationships and have your questions answered.

You will be guided through Connecting to Campus by members of the Orientation Committee, comprised of upper division students. These students will be your go-tos for logistical questions or if you are unsure what to do at any point during the program.
Each evening, the Orientation Committee will have various social events planned. The goal of each evening is to give you informal opportunities to relax and enjoy your new classmates.

Spring Transfer Students

Spring transfer students will participate in an abbreviated version of Connecting to Campus.  Residential students will move into their residence halls Monday at noon.  Both residential and commuter students will enjoy a dinner with faculty,  as well as presentations on navigating your new campus later in the week.

We expect that all transfer students will attend an Express Registration Session as well as the Connecting to Campus Program. While mandatory, we realize that for varying reasons, some students may be unable to attend due to significant time conflicts or distance. If so, please contact the Student Development Office at 315.445.4525 to make alternate arrangements.
