Application Procedures for HEOP
Students apply for HEOP by completing their regular application for admission. If students are using the Le Moyne application, they should indicate their interest in being considered for HEOP on the application by checking the appropriate box. If using the common application, students should indicate their interest on the Le Moyne supplement under the appropriate section. It is important that students complete the HEOP income statement early to enable College officials to determine their economic eligibility for HEOP.
Each application is reviewed thoroughly by the Office of Admission and the HEOP staff. Students who meet the educational and economic qualifications are then required to have a personal interview. Although it is preferable that the student be interviewed while visiting campus, arrangements can be made to accommodate applicants who cannot come to Le Moyne for an interview.
Applications for freshman admission are accepted until February 1. Students are strongly advised to complete and forward application and financial aid statements to Le Moyne by February 15, as there are a limited number of spaces in the programs.
Transfer students should submit completed applications by August 1. It is recommended, however, that transfer students apply earlier than August 1, as there are limited spaces available to transfer students.
