Alumni

Alumni of Le Moyne College are welcome to continue to use the Noreen Reale Falcone Library facilities and resources. For borrowing purposes, alumni are considered special patrons and have the same rights, privileges, and responsibilities, with a few exceptions.

In order to borrow materials from the Library, alumni must present two forms of ID and fill out a special patron application. If the alumnus still has the student ID, it may be used instead of a special patron card. If not, a special patron card is issued.

The loan period for books is three weeks, with one three-week renewal, as long as the material is not needed by another patron via a hold. Media collections, developed primarily to serve the curriculum, are restricted in use to Le Moyne students and faculty in support of class assignments. The viewing of videos and DVDs are restricted to current Le Moyne students and employees. Periodicals are very heavily used, and therefore must be read in the Library.

Unfortunately licensing agreements with most commercial databases restricts use of these databases to patrons using computers on campus.  Thus, alumni cannot access databases (except the library online catalog) from off campus. Instead, alumni must come to the Library to access databases using a guest login.  Ask for help at Reference Services.
