Le Moyne College Hosts Talk on “Doing Well by Doing Good”
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … Le Moyne College will host a talk by Lisa Osborne Ross, executive vice president of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. in Grewen Auditorium. Her talk is titled “Doing Well by Doing Good.”posted on: 1/31/2012
Ross is in charge of the Cause Advocacy Group at Ogilvy. She has worked on reputation management with a host of organizations in the public and private sectors. Ross served two terms in the Clinton White House, working with and within the U.S. Department of Labor (where she eventually created and led the first Office of Public Liaison), the Glass Ceiling Commission (where she co-authored the final report), and the White House Office of Women’s Initiatives and Outreach (where she served as chief of staff). In addition, Ross co-founded and continues to serve on the Honorary Council for the Washington Area Women’s Foundation and has served on numerous Catholic school boards and commissions. The recipient of many awards and honors, Ross was named one of the top Five Industry Leaders by PR Week, Woman of the Year by Washington Women in Public Relations, and Person of Substance and Style by Washington Life and Saks Fifth Avenue. She also received the CEO Award at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide.
