Rosanne Cash to Perform to Sold-Out Crowd at Le Moyne College

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … Grammy winning singer/songwriter Rosanne Cash, along with her husband, producer and guitarist John Leventhal, will perform to a sold-out crowd in the W. Carroll Coyne Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 7:30 p.m.

Billed as “An Intimate Evening with Rosanne Cash,” the duo will perform in the Jesuit Theater in the PAC. It will be one of Rosanne’s final performances prior to the 2010 Grammy Awards on Jan. 31, where her duet with Bruce Springsteen, “Sea of Heartbreak,” is nominated for a Grammy in the Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals category. The song, which appears on her critically acclaimed album “The List,” represents her ninth career Grammy nomination. She won a Grammy in 1985 for Best Country Vocal Performance by a Female for “I Don't Know Why You Don't Want Me.”

The performance was arranged with the help of Professor Mike Streissguth, chair of the communication & film studies department, whose new book “Always Been There: Rosanne Cash, The List, and the Spirit of Southern Music,” was recently published.
