Le Moyne Student Newspaper Wins Award

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … The Dolphin, Le Moyne's student newspaper, has received a second-place award in the New York Press Association’s 2010 Better College Newspaper Contest. The award is in the “column” category and goes to Matt Denvir, who wrote the Cheers & Jeers column in 2009-10 and graduated in May 2010.

NYPA’s citation says this about Matt’s columns: “Short and punchy format for a slightly skewed and funny look at college life. Brings energy and a light touch to the everyday experience.”
