Local Calling

Your assigned telephone number will allow dialing access only in the local Syracuse area, although you may receive calls from outside the area. Students are responsible for any and all calls made from their extension and are cautioned to safeguard the use of their phone. The college does not permit collect, third party, or billed back service calls to student extensions and imposes collection fees if such calls are authorized.

Students are advised to inform parents, friends, and relatives of their telephone numbers. Should a student, for any reason, change rooms during the academic year, it is their responsibility to inform family and friends of their new telephone number. Le Moyne College respects the privacy and security of each campus resident and campus operators have been instructed not to provide student telephone information to outside callers.

Students should refrain from calling the campus operator to connect to individuals or offices on campus. Le Moyne College provides a Name Connector service for directory connections available to callers who dial the main campus number (315-445-4100) or (X4100) from on campus. This service connects callers after stating either the name of the Faculty or Staff member, or the college office they are trying to reach.
