The visual and performing arts department offers students opportunities in a wide range of creative expression and arts appreciation. The department includes a theatre arts major, a drama minor, a visual arts minor, and a music minor.
Each program presents an array of classroom, studio, and applied courses designed to encourage the education of the whole person. Classroom instruction is enhanced by performance and exhibit op- portunities, visiting guest artists, learning communities, and creative association with artists on the faculty.
