Eligibility Requirements

SHRM recognizes diversity in the HR profession. To be eligible to sit for the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP exams, you must meet specific educational and work experience criteria at the time you submit your application.

Course Details and Registration

This 12 week Human Resource Management Program preparation course for the SHRM-CP & SHRM-SCP certification exams will be offered  Tuesdays, February 21 - May 9, 2023  (12 weeks - in class, on the Le Moyne College Campus.)

The SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification is for individuals whose work includes duties such as developing HR policies or procedures, overseeing the execution of integrated HR operations, directing an entire HR enterprise or leading the alignment of HR strategies to organizational goals.


The SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential is for individuals who perform general HR and HR-related duties at work; or for those pursuing a career in Human Resource Management. SHRM certification is the only HR certification offered by the world's largest HR membership organization.


*The cost of the SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP exam is NOT included.
