Alumni Awards

The Le Moyne College Alumni Association celebrates the professional and community service achievements of alumni through awards given each year during Reunion Weekend.
In recognition of outstanding efforts by alumni as well as by non-graduates of Le Moyne who have made meaningful contributions to the College, the Alumni Association gives six awards.

Nominations can be submitted throughout the year. Past nominees remain in consideration from year to year.

First presented in 1972, the Distinguished Alumnus/a Award is designed to honor a graduate of Le Moyne who demonstrates a high degree of accomplishment in his or her vocation, exhibits a concern for society as measured by voluntary community projects, and reflects a commitment to Le Moyne College’s Jesuit traditions. 

The Ignatian Awards were established by the Alumni Association to recognize the achievements of Le Moyne College’s alumni and friends. Each award represents the philosophy of St. Ignatius and ultimately the fundamentals of a Jesuit education. The award categories and their descriptions are as follows:
