Dolphin Dash ~ Sat., June 5, 2021


Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Dolphin Dash (Saturday, May 30, 2020), has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 5, 2021. Dolphin Dash participants who have already registered for the event will have an option to receive a refund or donate their registration fee to the Le Moyne College Fund.

We will be hosting a virtual Dolphin Dash from May 29-31, 2020. Please stay tuned for details and how to sign up.

Join alumni, parents and friends of Le Moyne College for the 7th Annual Dolphin Dash, a 5K run/one-mile walk event, organized by the Le Moyne College Alumni Association Board.

Proceeds from the event will support student scholarship at Le Moyne College.

Time: 9:30 a.m. 5K Run/One-mile Walk(5K Run timed / 1-Mile Walk not timed)

Le Moyne Events Center, Le Moyne College (formerly Henninger Athletic Center)
1419 Salt Springs Road, Syracuse, NY 13214

5K Course:

The open course weaves through the Le Moyne College campus, passing by the Madden School of Business, the Panasci Family Chapel, Grewen Hall, Noreen Reale Falcone Library, among other buildings, as well as takes runners on Springfield and Salt Springs Road, located on the perimeter of campus. The course includes some flats and slight grades up and down on blacktop surfaces, no grass or cross-country trails. The race will start and end at the Le Moyne Events Center (formerly the Henninger Athletic Center)
Note: The course is not closed to vehicular traffic, please be alert and aware of sharing the roadways and refrain from using headphones while out on the course.

The course is not certified

We will be using the bib-chip system by Leone timing during the 5K run.

5K Run:

Adults: $25, $15 for students, $15 for Active Duty Military, $10 Children ages 5-12
*through Friday, June 3, Noon, for online registration and Friday, May 14, for mail-in registration forms.

$5 discount for members of running clubs in Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo. Simply indicate which of the following club you belong to at checkout:

1-Mile Walk:
Adults: $10 / $5 children ages 5-12 (same pricing on race day)

Race day Registration (on Saturday, June 5):
Adults: $30 race day, High school/college students: $20, Active Duty Military: $20, children ages 5-12: $15. Prices will be the same for walk participants on race day.

T-shirt deadline: Friday, May 14All pre-registered participants will be guaranteed a tech shirt, if registered by Friday, May 14.

Race Day Registration: Runs from 8 - 9 a.m.

The event will take place rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, there will be no refunds; your entry will be used as a donation toward student scholarships at Le Moyne.

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall finishers male and female, and to the top male and female finisher from various age groups. 

Prizes also awarded to runners with the most school spirit - so be sure to wear your GREEN and GOLD! And, the Longest Mile Award, given to the participant who traveled the farthest to participate in the event.
