The Jesuit Student Emergency Fund is intended to provide students with stipends for short-term emergency support so that they may continue their Le Moyne education.
Effective August 1, 2022, the Jesuit Fund is shifting to more restricted guidelines for student applications due to minimal remaining funding. In the interest of transparency, the Jesuit Fund Committee is sharing these guidelines:
• Priority will be placed on funding for basic human needs (food, safe housing, medical needs) and emergent educational support.
• The Fund cannot provide ongoing support for recurring needs.
• The Fund cannot be used for tuition or college room and board costs.
• Applications will only be accepted from students who have applied for financial aid and/or loans.
• After the first application, students will be referred to the Financial Aid Office for information about loans.
• As a general guideline, the maximum stipend will be $300.
• In rare exceptions, the Committee will consider additional requests to a maximum of $1,000 annually.
