    Shipwreck as Exemplum in 17th Century Spanish Literature

    Carrie Ruiz, Ph.D., associate professor of Spanish literature at Colorado College, will talk about the representation of shipwreck as a predominant theme in the Emblem books of 17th century Spain and how María de Zayas implements it in her novella Tarde llega el Desengaño.
