Lisa (Eaton) Brown ’99 will offer advice on building your personal brand and your professional network. Brown is a personal finance expert and author who serves as a partner and wealth adviser at Corient.

Brown has developed a niche serving corporate executive clients and has been sought out by media outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger, CNBC, and Yahoo Finance for her financial perspectives. She is the author of three books, including Building Your Wealth Inside Corporate America and Financial Strategies for Today’s Executive. Her female finance book series includes Girl Talk, Money Talk and The Smart Girl’s Guide to Money After College. In 2015, she was recognized by Financial Advisor magazine as a Top 10 Young Advisor to Watch across the U.S. Brown earned a dual degree in finance and economics from Le Moyne.

Brown's talk is the Fall 2023 Madden Lecture. It will follow a renaming and ribbon cutting for the launch of the Madden College of Business and Economics, which will take place at 4 p.m. at Mitchell Hall.
