    Against the Grain

Tim Muldoon, Ph.D., will address what it means to live against the grain - to understand that we are part of a larger mission to transform the world through our relationships with others. In Christian tradition, that mission refers to our power to help others see themselves as God does, as worthy of reverence and love.

Dr. Muldoon is a theologian, professor and award-winning author of several books on Ignatian spirituality. His most recent is Living Against the Grain, an adaptation of a course he has taught in the Capstone program at Boston College for many years. He is the director of mission education at Catholic extension, an organization that serves mission dioceses in the United States.

Sponsored by the McDevitt Center, Sanzone Center for Catholic Studies and Theological Reflection, Office of Mission Integration and a NetVUE Professional Development grant.
