    Challenge to African Democracy: Independent Churches and Political Thuggery Kenya

    African democracy faces great challenges—for example, compartmentalization and political thuggery—that leave many nation-states in a state of “Political ICU,” grasping for life. For that reason, rejecting both Eurocentric and Afrocentric views in analysis of independent nation-states is more important than ever.

    This talk will be led by Godriver Odhiambo, Ph.D., associate professor of history. It is part of the Humanities Research Seminar, showcasing the variety and excellence of scholarly by the Le Moyne faculty.
