Brand Ambassadors

As members of the Le Moyne College family, we all must learn to understand, communicate and live our brand. Through this commitment to living our brand, we become the embodiment of our core values and in effect, brand ambassadors.

Shifts like these do not happen overnight. They take time. But, as we continue to grow in our roles as brand ambassadors it is helpful to recognize how each of our audience groups can become brand ambassadors, too.


Faculty and Staff

We want faculty and staff to:

• Become brand champions, promoting the Le Moyne College brand in academic, professional and social settings
• Become storytellers in which the Le Moyne brand comes alive
• Be able to promote Le Moyne’s accomplishments in their area of expertise and understand how these fit into the wider value proposition
• Communicate their stories for publication and promotion of the college


Class of 1965

We want alumni to:

 • Gain a contemporary understanding of Le Moyne’s value to the region, state and nation as a critical thinker addressing some of the nation’s most challenging problems
• Lend their passion and commitment to become a Le Moyne brand champion and promote the brand messages in professional and social networks
• Assist Le Moyne career service offices through internships for students and job recruitment efforts of students nearing graduation and young alumni
• Be inspired by brand messaging to donate to the college
• In their communities, encourage high school students who will contribute to the value of the brand to apply to the college
• Advocate for Le Moyne with their federal, state and local representatives.


We want students to: 


• Become storytellers in which the Le Moyne brand comes alive
• Lend their passion and commitment to become a Le Moyne brand champion and promote the brand messages in professional and social networks
• Apply the Le Moyne brand to their personal and professional lives
• In their communities, encourage high school students who will contribute to the value of the brand to apply to the college
• Advocate for Le Moyne with their federal, state and local representatives.

We want prospective students to:

 

•  Understand the value of a Le Moyne education
• Recognize Le Moyne for its extensive leadership initiatives and community engagement opportunities
• Recognize and value the benefits of a Jesuit education
• Be inspired by the Le Moyne brand and apply for admission
• Promote the Le Moyne brand among friends and family members.

We want parents to: 


• Promote the Le Moyne brand with friends and family members, in particular those who are potential students
• Gain an understanding about how to talk about Le Moyne values and accomplishments, promoting these in social media and other channels
• Provide the necessary support to their children
• Support Le Moyne College financially through a donor gift
• Become a college advocate and proactively reach out to the legislature advocating for key programs and priorities.

We want community members to:


• Gain an understanding of colleges contributions to solving problems in the community and the state
• Understand how the college leads to a better way of life and contributes to economic and social prosperity locally, statewide and across the nation
• Promote the Le Moyne brand in their interactions with others within and outside the community by having an understanding of the overarching value of a Le Moyne Jesuit education
• Assist Le Moyne career service offices through internships for students and job recruitment efforts of students nearing graduation and young alumni
• Become an advocate for Le Moyne College and proactively engage the legislature.
