70 Percent of Le Moyne Student-Athletes Named to Spring 2017 NE-10 Honor Roll

The Northeast-10 Conference announced the student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Spring 2017 semester on Monday morning. Among 16 institutions (including associate member LIU Post), 3,637 student-athletes were honored, including 227 from Le Moyne College.

Among the Dolphins' 21 athletic programs, 70.3% of Le Moyne student-athletes earned a spot on this prestigious list. The Dolphins ranked fourth among the 15-member conference, trailing Adelphi University (79.4%), Bentley University (75.4%) and Pace University (71.9%). The 70.3-percent mark is the third-highest mark by the department over the 17 semesters of the current Honor Roll structure and the third straight semester above 70-percent. Of Le Moyne's 323 student-athletes, 114 (35.3%) achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or greater, including 22 who earned perfect 4.0 grade point averages this semester. Le Moyne had the fourth-most student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA, the second-highest percentage with a 4.0 GPA and the fifth-highest percentage with at least a 3.5 GPA.

The Northeast-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll recognizes the conference's student-athletes for their achievements within the classroom. To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have met and or exceeded a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) for the Spring semester.
