    Jim Joseph '83 Named Special Assistant to the President

    Jim will report to the provost for all matters related to his ongoing role as the Madden School dean and will report directly to the president with regard to the duties of his new assignment.

    The latter include:
    • Working with the existing enrollment management team and academic departments/programs to cultivate collaborative relationships with area community colleges for the admission of transfer students;
    • Contributing to the College's ongoing advancement and development goals;
    • Working with communications staff and other relevant offices to develop new strategies for marketing both undergraduate and graduate programs.
    Jim is an alumnus (’83) of Le Moyne, with a baccalaureate degree in accounting. He also earned a master’s in public administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse in University in 1987. He has served as dean of the Madden School since 2014, was executive-in-residence from 2012 to 2014, and held a seat on Le Moyne’s board of trustees from 2008 to 2011. Before returning to the College, Jim served in various senior leadership positions at Oneida Ltd., including CEO and president.
