President Honored as "Citizen of the Year" by Temple Adath Yeshuran
At its annual dinner, President Linda LeMura was recognized as a Citizen of the Year by Temple Adath Yeshurun in DeWitt. The temple has a long history of honoring individuals from around Central New York, along with a national honoree.
Honored along with Dr. LeMura were: national honoree David Muir, anchor of ABC Evening News; Robin Goldberg, D.D.S., a retired dentist and community volunteer; Norman Swanson, president of Woodbine Group, a real estate development company; and brothers Mark and Steven Wladis, who continued their father's tradition of an annual drive to provide hats and gloves to students in the Syracuse City School District.
