Anne Kearney LCSW-R, who has served as dean for student development since 2016, has been named interim associate provost for student development. She will assume the duties of the position starting Wednesday, July 1.

In this role, Anne will continue to oversee Campus Life and Leadership, Student Conduct, the Wellness Center for Health and Counseling, Disability Support Services and the Violence Prevention grant. Newly reporting to her will be CSTEP/STEP, the Liberty Partners Program, Upward Bound, HEOP-AHANA, Inclusive Excellence and Global Education, and Academic Advising and Support.

She will report to Provost Joe Marina, S.J. and will be part of the College's senior leadership team.

"Anne's leadership and empathy were evident over the past several months as the College worked to deal with the complex and necessary changes due to COVID-19," said Provost Marina. "As dean, and before that as director of the Wellness Center for 10 years, she has demonstrated time and again her dedication to our students and the programs that serve them. In alignment with the College’s top priorities, efforts to advance racial justice will also be an important focus for Anne.”
