  • Printing on Campus

While we should all "think before we print," the Le Moyne community is reminded that students are allocated a limited number of printer pages per term and are charged for additional printing. This is outlined in the Student Handbook.

Full time students are allocated the equivalent of 500 printed pages per term (8.5 in. x 11 in. “letter size,” single sided, monochrome).  Part time students are allocated the equivalent of 100 (8.5 in. x 11 in. “letter size,” single sided, monochrome) pages per course.

For all monochrome prints in excess of the allocation, a student shall pay $0.05 per letter size print. For all color prints, a student shall pay $0.15 per letter size print irrespective of allocated monochrome pages.

Information on how to add additional money onto your “Print Count” is below.

Students may check the balance of their allocated print pages, by visiting PrintBalance.

Printing Wirelessly on Campus: Could this documentation be in a google doc?

Network printers are available for student use in public labs, in all residence halls and most academic buildings.  Students can print wirelessly from their devices by logging into MyPrint.

Once you are logged in using your Le Moyne username and password, you can upload your document by selecting “Choose File” and then “Next.” The document will be processed.

One your document is processed, if you wish to print double-sided, simply check the “Advanced” options checkbox and then select “Long-side (most common).”

You can now select the public network printer that you wish to print to from a drop down list and select “Print.”

Adding Money to your Print Quota:

If you run out of your free alloted page balance, you can add more money to your “Print Count” account in Dolphin Dollars.

Login to your Dolphin Dollars (Blackboard Transact) account using your Le Moyne username and password.

Once you are logged in, look for the "Print Count" category on the Accounts Summary page.

    Click the "+Add Money" link.

    Add Money

The minimum you can deposit into your "Print Count" is $1.00.

Color printing costs $0.05 per black and white page, and $0.15 per color page so plan how much you'll need to add to print out your materials.
