    Young Alumni Spotlight: Kelsey Woodrick '13

    Kelsey Woodrick '13, an English major with concentration in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), is a Program Associate in the Education for Development Division at Creative Associates International, a Non-Governmental Organization based Washington D.C. that "transforms under-served communities by sharing expertise and experience in education, governance, stabilization, and transitions from conflict to peace."

    How has your Le Moyne education impacted your career thus far as a young professional?

    My Le Moyne education has taught me the value of commitment in a professional workspace. The personable connections built with colleagues, faculty, and professors at Le Moyne have impacted my perspective on what it means to be a dedicated, motivated, and ambitious woman ready to overcome challenges and pursue opportunities.



    Professional tips for recent graduates?

    Take part in a Le Moyne service learning trip, whether it's in the Syracuse area or abroad. This experience will open your eyes, mind, and heart to take part in something greater than the day-to-day student life. It will bring depth to your understanding of yourself and the incredible communities and world around you.
