Neira Kajtezovic ‘20 is setting her world on fire with her energy, engagement, and drive. This mathematics major with a minor in visual arts has plans after graduation to enter the world of sales where she can meld her positive approach to life and her strong organizational skills to connect people and products. And this summer she will be able to lay the groundwork for her future because she was one of five individuals (selected out of over 500 applicants) to work with the Boston Red Sox in the team’s Sales Department.
“In the future, I hope to break out into a career in sales. Later in my career, I hope to be able to start or be part of a nonprofit organization for low income or first-generation students.”
“Here I have been given the opportunity to make my dreams come true while being surrounded by people who believe in me and are relentlessly committed to my success. Figuring out what you want to do with your life is stressful. Recognize that figuring out what you don’t want to do in the future is as big as a success as figuring out what you do want to do. When plans change it is easy to start doubting yourself but remember that college is about finding the right fit for you.”
