    Coming Home

For Raegan Parrotta, deciding to transfer to Le Moyne was about coming home. She made the move to the Heights in Fall 2019 after starting her college career at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

At Le Moyne, she is less than 20 miles from her hometown of Brewerton, N.Y. “Le Moyne felt like a home, a place where I could still have a college experience and learn but still have a community and a sense of comfort,” said Parrotta, who is majoring in psychology and minoring in criminology and legal studies.

She has immersed herself in a lot of what the College has to offer, becoming involved in the Psychology Club, the Criminology Club, being a peer tutor, playing club softball, working as a Le Moyne EMS, a student ambassador and serving as a research assistant. She expects to graduate in 2022, with plans to go to law school with a criminal law concentration.

Her advice for others considering transferring to the College. “You won't regret it! The friendly faculty, the engaging community and the friendships made will be more than worth it!”
