SUMMARY:Community Central - Learning\, Listening\, Leading: Allyship in Action
DESCRIPTION:This panel\, Learning\, Listening\, Leading: Allyship in Action\, will explore allyship as a lived practice\, grounded in Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of justice\, moral courage and collective responsibility. Drawing from campus and community perspectives\, the conversation will examine what authentic allyship looks like in higher education—especially in moments of discomfort\, conflict\, or institutional resistance. \n\nKenyon Blackm director of the Upward Bound program at Le Moyne\, will lead students in this discussion on how students\, faculty\, staff and administrators can move beyond performative support to sustained\, accountable action that supports Black and other marginalized students and communities.
