Global Voices Film Series – Pinocchio

Academy Award-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro reinvents Carlo Collodi's classic tale of the wooden marionette who is magically brought to life in order to mend the heart of a grieving woodcarver named Geppetto. This whimsical, stop-motion musical follows the mischievous and disobedient adventures of Pinocchio in his pursuit of a place in the world. (USA & Mexico, 2022). Directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson, the film will be introduced by Erin Mulally, associate professor of English. The Global Voices Film Series is sponsored by the Departments of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures; Communication & Film Studies; and Global Affairs. All movies will be are screened at 7 p.m. in room 244 of Reilly Hall.
