DESCRIPTION:Father Bryan Massingale is the James and Nancy Buckman Professor of Theological and Social Ethics at Fordham University. An internationally recognized Catholic theologian and social ethicist\, Father Massingale engages in scholarship that explores the intersections of race\, theology\, Catholic social teaching and LGBTQ+ identities. He is the author of the acclaimed book Racial Justice and the Catholic Church\, which examines the Church’s role in confronting systemic racism and advancing racial justice. Father Massingale is widely respected for his work on ethics\, social  justice and the call to build a more inclusive Church and society.
