D. Evaluation Criteria

Applications will be judged based on the likelihood for producing a significant impact on student learning assessment at the college. Preference is given:

  1. To tenure-track applicants;
  2. To projects already underway that can be brought to completion with the support of a Summer Stipend.

E. Report

Applicants who are granted a Summer Stipend must submit a brief report to the Assistant to the Provost for Student Learning Assessment, the Provost, and the appropriate Dean by October 15th (of the year in which the stipend was received).  The committee will not consider proposals from applicants who have outstanding project reports for SLA or R&D.  As in all such matters, the support of the College should be acknowledged where appropriate.
