Upcoming Shows

This production of the play Everybody by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins is intended to honor and celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of Le Moyne College, in Syracuse, NY.

Why was this play chosen? Theatre has long been a significant and integral element of Jesuit education. In 1947 when the Boot and Buskin Dramatic Guild was formed, they chose to present the medieval morality play, Everyman as a part of their first season. Everybody, a humorous, insightful and timely updated adaptation of Everyman, was first performed in 2017 and nominated for a Pulitzer-Prize. Then, as now, this allegorical tale is an apt choice because it asks us to examine our lives and to question our priorities. When faced with death, how will we look back on and account for the time we have spent on Earth?
