National Water Dance 2020

Dance Choreography

Ruth Arena's Dance Choreography class worked hard to turn the National Water Dance event into a digital experience.

They created a short movie to celebrate their hard work while staying safe. Congrats to all those involved, and thanks to Ruth for coordinating all this!

Information on VPA events

Today the Le Moyne College leadership made the difficult decision to discontinue activities on campus for the rest of the spring semester. The safety of our community is paramount and the recent advisory from the CDC to reduce gatherings of more than 50 people is a large part in the decision.

At this time we are cancelling all Visual & Performing Arts Department events scheduled to happen from today through June 15th. While Gifford Family Theatre performances are cancelled, the status of the Summer Arts Institute camps will be determined at a later date.

For those that have already purchased tickets for events this semester, we will be refunding the sale. Credit card sales will be refunded in the upcoming days. We will be developing a strategy to refund cash sales over the next few weeks.

Information and developments concerning the Covid-19 virus are constantly changing. We regret any inconvenience caused by these cancellations. Thank you in advance for your continued patience and support as we navigate this situation.

On behalf of everyone at the VPA, we would like to thank all those who supported visual and performing arts at Le Moyne this year and look forward to your ongoing patronage in the future.
