Inspiring Young Minds Through STEAM Education
Building Foundational Knowledge
We believe that a strong foundation in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) is essential for preparing students for the future. Our middle school program for Syracuse area students is designed to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and develop problem-solving skills that will serve students for a lifetime.
- 6th Grade – Beginners will build a solid foundation by learning coding basics in systems like Scratch, LEGO robotics and Dash Robot.
- 7th Grade – Learn how to build animations, expand their skills in coding on Scratch, LEGO robotics and explore other coding platforms. Students will also learn about Mobile Apps and dive into hands-on engineering activities.
- 8th Grade – Our most advanced middle schoolers will learn high level coding in programming languages like Python while creating an innovation project to present at the annual Maker’s Fair and ERIE21’s End of Year Celebration.
