Tech makes the world – and the Heights – go round. And we’re here to keep it running. We support the campus technology needs of students, faculty and staff. We’re also the go-tos for the administrative systems of the college, instructional computing, campus residential network, technology user support, plus hardware and software.

We pride ourselves on supporting the infrastructure and applications – the operation and mission – of the College.

Technology Setup for New Students

Getting connected is one of your first steps on The Heights—and we’ve made it simple. In early June, you’ll receive your Le Moyne IT credentials. These give you access to everything you’ll need to get started, from your email and course tools to housing, financial aid, and campus life platforms.

Once your credentials arrive:

These quick steps keep your account secure and make sure you don’t miss important updates.

In early June, Le Moyne will send your username and temporary password to your personal email.

Deposited later? No problem—you’ll receive your credentials within 1–2 weeks.

Once you’re in, you’ll use your account to:

  • Register for housing

  • Complete placement exams

  • Review financial aid

  • Submit health records

  • Upload your student ID photo

  • Access courses and campus tools

Here’s where everything lives. You’ll get familiar with these quickly:

  • Dolphin Health Portal
Upload immunizations, track your physical exam, and manage your health records.
  • eRez Life
Register for housing, find roommates, and set your preferences.
  • Phinfo
Your go-to for schedule, financial aid, billing, and transfer credits.
  • Canvas
Access your courses and complete placement exams.
  • ’Phins Hospitality
Explore meal plans, menus, and add Splash Cash.
  • CampusGroups
Find clubs, events, and ways to get involved (app available too).

Technology Tips for Campus Life

Choosing a Computer

Mac or Windows—both work. Choose what you’re comfortable with.
Note: Chromebooks are not recommended for exam software.

Anti-virus Software

Keep your device protected by using (and updating) anti-virus software. Built-in MacOS or Windows Defender meets requirements.

Printing

You’ll have a campus printing allotment each semester.

Tip: Skip bringing a printer if you can—but if you do, it must be wired (no wireless).

Smart TVs & Devices

Bring your TV, console, or streaming device.

Connect through ethernet or the Dolphin-IOT network.

Stay Connected with RAVE Alert

RAVE Alert is Le Moyne’s emergency notification system.

Make sure your phone number and email are up to date to receive real-time alerts about weather-related closures and campus safety updates.
