Enjoy a screening of Buster Keaton’s brilliant silent film Sherlock Jr. (1924, 45 mins.) with a live new score by Nic Scherzinger performed by the Society for New Music!
The screening and concert will be preceded by a panel on imaginative movies about movies with Le Moyne English and Communication professors Julie Grossman, Rebecca Pelky and Daniel Rudin, and composer of the score for Sherlock Jr., Syracuse University professor Nic Scherzinger.
A screening of Keaton’s Sherlock Jr., accompanied by a performance of Scherzinger’s score, follows at 7:15 in the main theater of Le Moyne’s Performing Arts Center. The screening (45 minutes) will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the composer.
Tickets: $20 general admission; $15 senior citizens; and free for students with a school ID
