Club Spotlight: Mental Health Awareness Club
Le Moyne’s Mental Health Awareness Club is a student-driven initiative devoted to fostering understanding, empathy, and dialogue around mental well-being on campus. With a mission to combat stigma and promote self-care, our club offers a welcoming community where every student’s voice matters.
Through awareness campaigns, panel discussions with mental health professionals, and stress-relief events like mindfulness workshops and peer-led support groups, they strive to create a campus culture where reaching out for help is a sign of strength—not weakness. Collaboration with campus resources ensures that students receive accurate information, assistance, and strategies for emotional resilience.
Voices of Hope on The Heights
Each spring, the Le Moyne community gathers for “Voices of Hope”, an event dedicated to raising awareness around mental health and honoring the lives of those we’ve lost to suicide. Featuring food trucks, custom event t-shirts, mental health resources, and free swag, the event offers a space for connection and support. Live music, dance performances, speakers, and opportunities to get to know campus clubs and community organizations serve as a powerful reminder that at Le Moyne, Dolphins Never Let Dolphins Swim Alone.
