STEP for STEM Prep

The Le Moyne STEP program serves 80+ local students.

The Le Moyne College Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP) is one of 51 STEP programs in New York State preparing economically disadvantaged students from Nottingham High School, Henninger High School, Syracuse Middle Schools and all of Onondaga County for college.

Collaborating with the New York State Department of Education and the Syracuse City School District since 1987, we’re proud of our students’ pursuit of careers in math, science, technology and the health-related or licensed professions.

Am I eligible for the program?

To qualify for STEP, you need to be:

• New York State resident
• Enrolled in a 7th – 12th grade in New York State
• Economically disadvantaged
• Interested in pursuing a college major/career in the STEM field or New York State licensed professions
