We are very excited to announce our next on-campus event, happening next Tuesday evening, in collaboration with The Le Moyne Way! Please read this whole email…we have a lot of great things to share!

Card Making for Veterans:
In honor of Veterans Day in November, we will be writing cards to U.S. military veterans to thank them for serving our country. A simple note of gratitude can go a long way in reminding them that their sacrifices and dedication are remembered and appreciated. Many veterans carry lifelong impacts from their service, and receiving a handwritten message of thanks can provide encouragement, comfort, and a sense of connection.

The cards that we make during our meeting will be sent to organizations that provide support for our national heroes.

Guest Speaker:
We are honored that Mr. Carlos A. Prillwitz, a retired U.S. military veteran and Le Moyne College alum, will be joining us during this event to share his experiences. From Mr. Prillwitz:

“As an Immigrant from Guatemala, I saw serving in the military as a calling—my way of giving back to a country that gave my parents, my brothers, and my sisters the opportunity to pursue the American dream. That spirit of service shaped who I am and continues to guide me today. Le Moyne, through its Jesuit value of service, helped me take that foundation and redefine my identity beyond the uniform. It showed me that service can take many forms—whether in the military, in the community, or in the classroom—and that true leadership is found in lifting others up.”

Please join us in welcoming this distinguished alum to our campus and hearing his story!
