Arts and Minds: A Showcase for Creative Aging

Please join us for the opening reception for “Arts and Minds: A Showcase for Creative Aging.” This exhibit features 21 works by 12 elder artists in the Syracuse Jewish Family Service (SJFS) Arts and Minds Program. Through their participation in various creative projects, the artists expressed themselves and made choices that reflect their aesthetic preferences while also learning about and exploring new artistic techniques. Most importantly, the participants unlocked a feeling of achievement and success. SJFS is a nonprofit agency dedicated to helping individuals and families of any faith and age in Central New York.

The exhibit will run from Monday, Jan. 12, through Friday, March 27, 2026. It is free and open to the public during regular library hours. For more information, call (315) 445-4323.
