Club Spotlight: 8-Ball Billiards Club
The 8-Ball Billiards Club is a social and recreational organization aimed at students with an interest in billiards, commonly referred to as pool. The club is inclusive, welcoming individuals of all skill levels, from novices to seasoned players. This creates a supportive atmosphere where members can enhance their skills, engage in friendly competitions, and enjoy the game with fellow students.
The club organizes weekly game nights and friendly tournaments, promoting community, camaraderie, and skill development. These activities offer students a fun and relaxing break from their academic responsibilities. By participating in the 8-Ball Billiards Club, students have the chance to unwind, forge new friendships, and enjoy a timeless game.
Friendly Competition on The Heights
Club tournaments are a weekly fixture in the Corcoran Lounge and are open to all students!
The club takes its game on the road, competing against other colleges for pride, bragging rights, and a little friendly rivalry.
One of the most heated matchups each semester isn’t against another college, it’s against Le Moyne professors.
At Le Moyne, connection happens in unexpected places, including around the pool table.
The club’s strong campus following recently earned it a Dolphins’ Choice Award for Best Club on Campus.
