On Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 4 p.m. in Grewen Auditorium, Erika Korzeniewski Psy.D. will present “Educational Psychology in Action: From Research to Clinical Practice.” Her talk will explore how psychological science shapes the way students learn. Using research on goal setting, set size and math fact fluency as a foundation, it examines motivation, effective learning strategies, and evidence-based educational practices that improve learning in K–12 schools while offering practical study strategies for college students.

Korzeniewski earned her doctorate in school psychology from SUNY Albany and is a clinician at Children’s Neuropsychological, specializing in evaluations and consultations for children and adolescents with diverse developmental, learning, and emotional needs.

This talk is part of the Fall 2026 Social Science Seminar Series, sponsored by the social science departments: anthropology, criminology and sociology; economics; political science; and psychology.
