Before coming to Le Moyne College, I have worked in a wide variety of institutions of higher education in the U.S. and Korea including the University of Cincinnati, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Yale University, the University of Central Florida, and Inha University (South Korea).

I received my academic training in mathematics, mathematics education, biostatistics, and applied mathematics at Inha University, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Maryland at College Park. My Ph.D. degree is from Inha University.

My current research interest is developing and exploring mathematical and statistical techniques for data analytics. I have engaged in collaborative multidisciplinary projects including removing noise from old recording, analyzing near infrared spectroscopic data, and exploring diffusion processes.

I enjoy teaching and truly want to help students succeed inside and outside classroom. Whether you are in one of my classes or not, please stop by and let’s talk about your mathematics and career interests and concerns.
