    Le Moyne Awards & Scholarships

    Le Moyne College is dedicated to providing the higher education dreams of all who dare to dream. We provide awards to nearly all accepted students to help make Le Moyne College an affordable option. To be considered for additional state, federal, and institutional grants, applicants must submit the FAFSA using Le Moyne's code, 002748.

    First Year Scholarships

    Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit. To be eligible for a merit scholarship, first year applicants must submit a completed application by February 1. Applications submitted early will receive priority scholarship consideration. While specific ranges for test scores (SAT or ACT) and GPA may be required for top awards, many of the scholarships awarded by Le Moyne will rely on other factors including your personal statement, recommendations, and other supplemental application materials to determine academic potential. 

    Below you will find three sample scholarships (of many) that may be offered:

    Presidential Scholarships
    Criteria Amount
    GPA Minimum 95% SAT Score 1300 - 1600 or ACT Score 29 - 36 $100,000 Scholarship -- $25,000 a year, renewable for four years. Students must maintain a 3.25 GPA and full-time status.

    Dean Scholarships
    Criteria Amount
    GPA Minimum 92% SAT Score 1200 - 1600 or ACT Score 27 - 36 $75,000 Scholarship -- $18,750 a year, renewable for four years. Students must maintain a 3.00 GPA and full-time status.

    Ignatian Scholarships
    Criteria Amount
    Awarded to first year students from Jesuit high schools with superior academic records. Please see your high school counselor for more details. $75,000 Scholarship -- $18,750 a year, renewable for four years. Students must maintain a 3.00 GPA and full-time status.

    Athletic Scholarships

    Criteria Amount
    Awarded by individual coaches. Offered to men in baseball, basketball, cross-country, golf, lacrosse, soccer , swimming & diving and tennis. Offered to women in basketball, cross-country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis and volleyball. Partial and full tuition offered.

    Transfer Scholarships

    To be eligible for a transfer scholarship, applicants must have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours at a regionally accredited college and plan to attend Le Moyne College as a full-time student. Scholarships are renewable based upon the recipient maintaining good academic and social standing at Le Moyne. Members of Phi Theta Kappa may also be eligible for Le Moyne's $3,000 PTK Scholarship.
     
    The following merit scholarships are available for entering transfer students:

    for 3.00 - 3.24 GPA

    Endowed Scholarships

    There are over 50 endowed scholarships (totaling close to $1.4 million in funds) available through Le Moyne College. To be considered for an Endowed Scholarship, be sure to submit the FAFSA using Le Moyne's code, 002748.
