Summer Arts Institute

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and the uncertainty surrounding it, Le Moyne has cancelled all events that were scheduled to take place on campus through at least July 31. The College made this difficult decision out of an abundance of caution to protect the safety and health of all participants.

We are sorry to announce that because of this all 2020 summer arts camps have been cancelled. We hope to see you in the summer of 2021!

In 2012, the Gifford Family Theatre’s wildly popular Summer Youth Theatre transformed into the Le Moyne College Summer Arts Institute. This conservatory program has expanded on GFT’s theatre camp to offer additional opportunities for youth to delve into the areas of film, music (strings), vocal jazz, musical theatre, and creative writing, all on Le Moyne’s beautiful campus. Youth may choose to attend one or multiple camps!

In recognition that some youth/parents may have schedules that require a longer camp day, the Le Moyne College Summer Arts Institute will be offering an Extended Day Option. This option will be offered for each of the camps (except for the 1/2 day Creative Writing Camp) and will allow youth the opportunity to remain, supervised, on campus until 5:30 p.m. During this time, students will be supervised by Le Moyne College interns who are on staff with the camps, but it will not be a formal extension of the learning period. (The fee for this option is $50 per camp week.)
