Le Moyne Announces “Reaching New Heights” Program Offering Tuition Discount for College's Class of 2020

Seniors who previously had not planned on continuing graduate studies are eligible for program.

With their senior year unexpectedly cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic, Le Moyne is offering members of the Class of 2020 the opportunity to begin work on select masters’ degree programs at a 40 percent tuition discount. The initiative, called Reaching New Heights, would provide discounted tuition for the College’s Arts Administration, Education, Information Sciences (MSIS) and Master in Business Administration (MBA) graduate programs. Any graduating senior eligible to begin a graduate program in May or August 2020 is eligible to participate in Reaching New Heights.

“We have heard from a number of seniors who said they wish they could come back for a full fifth year,” said Tim Lee, Ph.D., vice president for enrollment management. "Though nothing can replace the time lost due to the coronavirus, this program will help make their senior year whole. Reaching New Heights is an excellent opportunity for members of the current class to continue their Le Moyne education by enrolling in one of our graduate programs at a significant cost savings."

The program would also allow those senior student-athletes whose seasons were cut short to return to the Heights and complete their NCAA eligibility, while working on a graduate degree.

Applications are currently open and are being reviewed on a weekly basis, and students would have to apply and meet program entrance requirements. No additional application is required by students; once they apply and are accepted to an eligible graduate program, they will automatically be enrolled in the Reaching New Heights program. Limited graduate housing is available.

    Program conditions include:

    1. The 40 percent discount on tuition cannot be combined with other forms of institutional aid or any other discount programs (athletic scholarships, program specific scholarships/discounts)

    3. This is a one-year program, specifically for the seniors/class of 2020. Current juniors, sophomores and first-year students are not eligible.

    4. The 40 percent discount applies to one year of graduate study. Should the student take additional time to complete their program, normal tuition/fees will apply.

Programs not included in Reaching New Heights are the 150-hour Accounting Program, Physician Assistant Studies, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and the Ed.D. in Executive Leadership.
