Dr. Stacey J. Buck joined the Le Moyne College Education Department in Fall 2025 as a full-time faculty member. Prior to joining Le Moyne, she taught in public education for 15 years serving students in a variety of special education settings including resources, special day class, home instruction, and co-teaching, in addition to providing itinerant vision services. Stacey is a National Board Certified Teacher Exceptional Needs Specialist and an ACVREP Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS). Stacey has been a math subject matter expert item writer for the Dynamic Learning Maps Consortium alternate assessment since 2018.

Stacey is passionate about leveraging assistive technology to increase access, engagement, and meaningful learning opportunities for all students. Her research interests include vision impairment, low incidence disabilities, alternate assessment, curriculum, and assistive technology. She currently serves on the board for the Council for Exceptional Children’s Division on Visual Impairments and Deafblindness.
