AI Theatre and Community Conversation: An Experiment

When

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Where

Private Location

Join us for an evening of interactive theatre and thought-provoking conversation exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and human creativity. Hosted by Ola Kraszpulska, this event is a fascinating glimpse into the future of AI in education, the arts and beyond.

This experiment will feature three short play readings directed by Katie Rotondi, each written from the same prompt and performed by a two actor cast. But here’s the twist: one play is written by a student, Francesca Smith ’28, one by a faculty member Matt Chiorini and one by ChatGPT. The cast and directors will not know which play was created by which author. Can you tell which one was written by AI?

After the performances, the audience will vote for which script they believe was written by AI. A prize basket will be raffled off between those who made the correct guess, so pay close attention, and then stick around for an engaging cross-disciplinary conversation. A light reception will follow.
