The faculty of the departments of biological and environmental sciences, chemistry and biochemistry, and physics invite you to join us for the Fall 2025 Natural Science Seminar Series. The second presentation in the series will be held on Friday, Sept. 19 at 3:30 p.m. in room 100 of the science addition.
The presentation will be given by Dr. Joseph Zepeda, a scientist at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab. His talk, titled “Galactic Archeology: Studying the Early Universe with Fossil Stars” will explore the mechanisms by which stars form and the information we can disentangle from observing distant stars.
